| February 16th | IMA Registration Cut-Off Changed for CMA Parts 1, 2 and 3The IMA has reverted to their previous policy for the registration cut-off dates for the Old 4-Part CMA Parts 1, 2 or 3 exams. Registrations received on or after February 16th (today) or June 16th will be applied to the next testing window. The last date to register for the old Part 1, 2 or 3 exams is October 15th. The previous cut-off was the 1st of the month. |
| February 12th | CMA Assumed Knowledge e-Book Now AvailableThe 2-Part CMA exam contains an extensive list of topics that are considered assumed knowledge, including economics, statistics and financial accounting. Because not all candidates may have the necessary background for these topics, we have developed an Assumed Knowledge e-Book covering these topics beyond the exam syllabus. The cost for the Assumed Knowledge e-Book is $50, and it can be purchased now as a standalone product, or is included for free with any purchase of the 2010 CMA Study Materials through April 30th. |

| December 8th | CMA Exam Transition Guide UpdatedWe have updated our CMA Exam Transition Guide with additional guidance regarding strategies for transitioning to the new exams, credits available from the ICMA for Januanry/February Part 1 exam registrations, and made several minor clarifications. If you have any questions about the old or new exams, the transition process, or your best plan of action, please contact HOCK. You are welcome to contact us regardless of whether or not you have purchased HOCK materials. |
| November 24th | ICMA announces new CMA exam curriculum and structureThe ICMA has announced that beginning May 1, 2010, the CMA exam will consist of a two-part format focusing on the critical skills of financial planning, analysis, control and decision support. Testing for the current four-part CMA exam format will continue through December 31, 2010. We encourage all candidates to begin and/or continue under the old program and take advantage of the transition rules, if necessary, to complete their studies under the new program. |
| November 18th | CIA Part 1 Textbook UpdatedThe CIA Part 1 Textbook has been revised with minor corrections and updates. The update is free and is available in My Studies for anyone who has previously purchased Part 1. | November 13th | Flash Cards for screen use now availalbleThe flash cards are our most popular review tool, and HOCK is pleased to announce that the flash cards are now available in a new layout that has been specifically formatted for easy viewing on the screen. The existing files for creating printed flash cards are still available. The screen use and printing files are available in My Studies for all Parts of the CMA and CIA exams. |

| October 19th | CMA Part 4 Exam Update - Spreadsheet ComponentThe ICMA has announced that they are temporarily ceasing use of the Spreadsheet component introduced in April for the CMA Part 4 exam. The Spreadsheet will not be used for the December testing window, and will be introduced again at a later date with improved functionality. We will announce future updates regarding the Part 4 Spreadsheet component here on our web site and on Twitter. |
| September 18th | HOCK student recognized by the IMA for outstanding exam scoresCongratulations to HOCK student Jenell Wagner, winner of a Certificate of Distinguished Performance for her high exam scores. The Certificate of Distinguished Performance is presented by the ICMA Board of Regents to candidates who achieve superior exam scores. |

Our pre-loaded Class Recordings are now available on these new 5th generation iPod nanos, which still come in your choice of 7 colors. The cost for the 8GB nano is the same, but the 16GB model is now $20 cheaper. |
| July 30th | CMA and CIA ExamSuccess 2.2.2 availableHOCK is pleased to announce the release of ExamSuccess 2.2.2 for both the CMA and CIA exams.
