| July 1st | New FASB Accounting Standards Codification™The FASB Accounting Standards Codification™ launched today. The Codification is now officially the single source of authoritative non-governmental U.S. GAAP. The CMA exams will continue to test the former GAAP hierarchy for one year, until July 1, 2010. | June 1st | 4th Edition CMA and 3rd Edition CIA textbooks now availableHOCK is pleased to announce our 4th Edition CMA and 3rd Edition CIA textbooks featuring our new colorized layout and all of the content changes and updates made since the previous Editions. Guidance for CMA Part 4 preparation has also been significantly expanded with a new Study Plan, additional & more recent Practice Questions, and specific suggestions for when to do those questions. |
| May 29th | CMA Part 4 New Materials and Material UpdatesSeveral new and updated documents have been posted for the CMA Part 4 Study Materials. A Study Plan for the CMA Part 4 exam is now available, and Practice Questions have been integrated into the textbook and Study Plan as assignments. The Part 4 Textbook has also been updated with additional information for several key topics, and the Flash Cards were revised to correspond with the textbook changes. The update is free and is available in My Studies for anyone who has previously purchased Part 4. | April 2nd | CMA Part 4 Exam Update - Spreadsheet DemoThe ICMA has announced a new spreadsheet tool for the CMA Part 4 Exam, beginning in April 2009. For the April testing window, candidates will be required to use the spreadsheet to answer one question.
